[Film, Wed.-Sun.] The 10th annual Boston International Film Festival screens films from over 30 countries at the AMC/Loews Theatre downtown. [$12/session, $75/pass]

[Theater, Thurs.] At Unity Somerville, Bare Bones Stages Readings takes on 84 Charing Cross Road, a story of an unlikely friendship between a young woman in New York and a bookseller in London in the years following the Second World War. [Free, $5 suggested donation]

[Nightlife, Thurs.] GLOW Boston has guest DJs Shmegore and Kevin Wang bringing fresh electro, house and top40 remixes to the decks! First 50 at the door will be entered to win Kaskade tickets. [$15, 18+]
