Cool weather here for next week

Cooler fall weather is ahead for the week of Oct. 12 with chances of showers several days this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday looks like it’s going to be the perfect fall day with sun and a high near 62 and an evening low in the high 40s.

While it previously looked like we might see some rain move in from the Great Lakes region and ruin weekend plans, it now appears the precipitation is moving south of New England before moving out to sea.

Saturday is going to be mostly sunny with a high near 64 and another evening in the high 40s. Sunday will be similar with a high near 60.

Returning to classes on Monday and Tuesday there is a chance of showers with a high just below 60 on both days, falling to the low 50s or high 40s in the evening.

Wednesday may see a return to some sunshine but don’t be surprised if you see some showers. Temperature-wise, we’ll see a high around 57 falling to near 46 in the evening.

Thursday should be the end of the rain with a high of 60 and an evening low of 50.
