According to the National Weather Service and AccuWeather, after a lengthy cold spell, we have some warmer weather coming, but don’t start planning that beach trip just yet: we have more cold and rain coming before relief arrives.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 36 degrees, falling to the high 20s in the evening.

Thursday will be a little warmer with more sun. Temperature-wise, we’re looking at low 40s with a cooler evening. Thursday night will also bring rain, but temperatures should remain just above freezing, keeping away chances of snow.

Friday will be warmer with a high of around 48 degrees but with continuing rain into Friday night.

Saturday will be cooler with a high near 35 with higher winds blowing northeast at 18 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. Saturday night will be the coldest this week with temperatures around 20 degrees.

Sunday will have sunny skies and moderate temperatures for the season, with temperatures between the high 30s and low 40s falling to around freezing in the evening.

Monday we’re finally going to see a glimpse of spring with clear skies and temperatures in the low 50s falling to the high 30s in the evening.

On Tuesday, warm weather is going to continue with temperatures in the low 50s but unfortunately it will also bring rain showers throughout the afternoon.
