Suffolk University students packed the Royale Oct. 23 to see a vibrant performance by rapper, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie for the Student Government Association’s 2025 concert.

Suffolk University student Juan Gomez, also known as Alë, kicked off the night as A Boogie’s opener. Students filled the venue and were absolutely ecstatic not just to see the long-awaited performance by A Boogie, but also to support their peer at his biggest show yet.

Alë performed an electrifying set that got every person in the venue dancing. He ended with his most popular track, “6AM IN RIO,” which had the entire venue singing along with him.

Once Alë finished his set, A Boogie’s DJ, DJ Ominaya, took the stage momentarily before A Boogie’s entrance to liven up the crowd. He played some hip-hop and rap classics to get everyone warmed up for the main event.

DJ Ominaya went backstage after his set, and only a few minutes later, the lights went down and the fans erupted in screams.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie played an hour-long set filled with his most popular and fan-favorite songs. Accompanied by two back-up dancers and DJ Ominaya, A Boogie filled the venue with his snare and synth-heavy anthems that had the crowd roaring.
