1-2pm: Food For Thought: Ray Rice & Domestic Violence! Come learn & join a discussion on Ray Rices’ recent domestic violence incident, a former Baltimore Ravens football player. The discussion will be facilitated by Jean M. Joyce-Brady, Director of Suffolk Counseling, Health & Wellness. (Donahue 403)

1-2pm: Activities Period! Ask around about clubs & pay them a visit during activities period; it’s a great way to meet new people & join something you’re interested in!
5:30-7pm: Hispanic Heritage Month Opening Event with Rosa Clemente! Rosa Clemente will be presenting “Latinos y Latinas in the 21st century.” Clemente is a Black Puerto Rican grassroots organizer, hip-hop activist, journalist, and entrepreneur.Rosa has appeared on CNN, C-Span, and Democracy Now, Street Soldiers, and National Public Radio (NPR). (Donahue 403)
Wednesday 9/17
5-7pm: Rampage Vocal Auditions! Rampage is Suffolk’s show choir. Sign up for an audition outside of the Performing Arts Office (Donahue 409). Know that you will have a 2 part audition: For the vocal audition, prepare a short segment of a song (less than 1 minute) that accurately displays your range & vocal ability.
7:30-10pm: W!CKED Auditions! Sign up for an audition outside the Performing Arts Office (Donahue 409). Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Bring your student ID, water/gatorade. At the audition; will stretch, learn choreography, ask questions & perform the piece you learned. Optional: You can prepare a freestyle dance piece if wanted!
Thursday 9/18
12-2pm: TEMPLE STREET FAIR! Come down to the Temple Street Fair; you’ll get to sign up for different clubs & snag freebies! Meet new people & have food! Wear comfy clothes & bring a bag; lots of walking/freebies! (Temple Street; by Donahue)
1-2pm: Ramifications Auditions! Sign up for an audition outside of the Performing Arts Office (Donahue 409). For your audition, please be prepared with a song to sing, & to sing with the group. Good Luck!
5:30-7:30pm: Step Team Open Workshop! This workshop is open for everyone, no prior experience necessary! They will also explain more about the audition process for the group. Audition sign ups & more info is outside the Performing Arts Office (Donahue 409).
7-9pm: Rhythm Auditions! Sign up for an audition outside of the Performing Arts Office (Donahue 409). For your audition bring; your instrument (bass, guitar, trumpet etc). Amps, mics, keyboard & drum set will be provided. Prepare 2 songs from 2 different genres (ex: rock and pop). Instrumentalists will be asked to jam, vocal audition is acapella and will do scales & pitch matching.
Friday 9/19
11am-6pm: Summer Street Arts Market! So this friday, if you happen to pass by Summer Street, stop by & check out the handmade artwork being sold (paintings, jewelry, carvings, etc). Look for pieces to decorate your room! (125 Summer Street, Boston, MA)
