Spring Show Auditions

Hello lovely readers! As many of you know, last week we had two amazing productions at Suffolk: the theatre department put on Doris Day in Belarus, an original play written by professor Wes Savick, while the Performing Arts Office dazzled us with Dinner Theatre. Now that both productions are over, do you know what that means? It means auditions! There are three auditions coming up for the spring semester, and we have a list of them, as well as what you will need. They are:

 

What: Spring Musical Audition

Who: Theatre Department

What You Need: A contemporary/pop song (please bring sheet music) and a 1 minute contemporary monologue

When: November 30, December 1

Where do I sign up? Sign up at the call board in the Theatre Department

 

What: Spring Showcase Audition

Who: Theatre Department

What You Need: A contemporary monologue

When: November 30, December 1

Where do I sign up? Sign up at the call board in the Theatre Department

 

What: Identity Crisis: An Original Play Exploring Race &  Identity

Who: The Performing Arts Office

What You Need: A monologue or story

When: December 2, 4:30-7:30

Where do I sign up? Outside of the Performing Arts Office

*The PAO strongly encourages POC and members of the LGBTQ+ community to audition*
