Suffolk freshman volleyball player Jacqueline Dugas was recently named Great Northeast Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for Oct. 4.
In addition, she received all-tournament honors at the Salem State Invitation on Oct. 2. During the team’s win over Salem State, Dugas had a team-high nine kills and 16 digs. (She also had nine kills and 19 digs in a win over conference opponent Simmons College on Oct. 30.) For the week, she had 49 kills and 73 digs over six matches.
Even more impressive is the fact that she she leads the team with an extremely impressive 115 kills. With 11 matches left on the season, she still has plenty of time to add to those totals.
With a record of 7-10, the Lady Rams will look to climb up the GNAC standings, where they currently reside in sixth place.
