This year’s Student Government Association Senate took office at its meeting Sept. 28, with new and old members alike officially kicking off business for the year.

This year’s senators are as follows:

Class of 2024: Kayla White

Class of 2025: Khadijia Hussein, Asma Akbar, Maada Coomber and Nick Pao

Class of 2026: Andrew Gomes, Clare Garland, Charlie Reyna-Demes and Jack Gosselin

Class of 2027: Frank Ezhan Jr., Joey Kozlowski, Matthew Williams, Elise Rue, Molly Gramm, Kylie Macado, Divinity Johnson, Kayleigh Carey and Aiden Dion

Sawyer Business School at-large: Brianna Diaz

“I am excited for the things we have coming up this year that will benefit our overall goal of having students’ voices heard. So far, we have launched campus-wide events like CharlieonnaFriday and Suffolk Dining student feedback efforts that are just the beginning of what we have planned. Suffolk is going to see an overall positive change in the student body and I cannot wait for everyone to see it,” said Grace Kane, vice president of SGA.

The meeting set the stage for an exciting start to the semester with a strong team of student leaders.

“Introducing these new senators makes me so hopeful for the future of SGA. When I see them I see the future leaders of the student government, Suffolk and the world. I can’t begin to express how happy I am to welcome them all,” said Kane.
