Born in Colombia and raised there until the age of 12, Carolina Yepes and her family moved to East Boston after the job market in Colombia was affected by companies that moved to China. In this interview, Yepes discusses her experience in transitioning to an American school and the challenges that she encountered. She is now a student at Suffolk University.Â
