Monday 1/26

6 pm- 8 pm: Film-James Baldwin: The Price of the Ticket. film screening and Q&A with filmmakers, Karen Thorsen and Doug Dempsey. Portrait of the late black author James Baldwin, from his early days as a preacher through his career as a novelist, playwright, and civil rights activist. (Modern Theatre, Doors at 5:30)

7 pm- 9 pm: A Case Named Freud- A Case Named Freud portrays the story of Sigmund Freud and the young Nazi Dr. Sauerwald, who originally plans to extradite the Freud family but then, against his boss’s orders, facilitates their rescuing departure to London. The play recounts in rapid and breathtaking dialogues how Freud psychologically sees through his counterpart, pulls him onto his side and ultimately saves his family. (Stahl Center)

Tuesday 1/27

5 pm- 7 pm: Panel Discussion: The Art of Documentary Film-Join Distinguished Visiting Scholars Karen Thorsen and Doug Dempsey, Dean Kenneth Greenberg, and CJN Professor Gerry Peary for a discussion of the art and industry of documentary films. (Modern Theatre)

Wednesday 1/28

7 pm- 9 pm: Suffolk Idol! Do you have what it takes to be the next Suffolk Idol?! Or do you just love watching top singers battle it out? Come to the 2015 SUFFOLK IDOL! There will be two rounds of competition. During the first round, contestants will sing any song they want. During the finalist round, the top 3 will sing the national anthem a capella for the grand prize and the honor of being the new Suffolk Idol! (Modern Theatre)

Thursday 1/29

12 pm- 2 pm: Winter Involvement Fair- Get Involved at the Winter Involvement Fair! Come enjoy free food, give-a-ways and join some great organizations! (Top Floor, Omni Parker House)

4 pm- 5:30 pm: Museum Internship Fair- Discover the wide range of internship opportunities available for all majors, undergraduates and graduate students, with renowned Boston Area museums. PANEL PRESENTATION FOLLOWED BY NETWORKING. (Sargent Hall first floor conference room)

5:30 pm- 6:30 pm: A Conversation with Fred Marchant and John Hodgen- Join us for a discussion with Professor Emeritus Fred Marchant and John Hodgen about Common Threads, the annual publication by Mass Poetry. The poets will discuss the process of writing and revising the poems they produced for the publication. Moderated by Alice Kociemba. (Stahl Center)

Friday 1/30

7 pm- 9 pm: Step Team Show- Come see what the step team has been working on in this awesome show! (C Walsh)

Saturday 1/31

7 pm- 11 pm: Eat My Improv- Seriously Bent is hosting it’s annual “Eat My Improv” festival on Saturday January 31 from 7-11pm in Modern Theater! The show will feature the best of Boston improv including college and professional troupes. The first show will be at 7pm and will feature college troupes including groups from Northeastern, Emerson, Boston University, Wellesley and Sarah Lawrence. At 9pm the professional groups will come out. Get ready for a hilarious evening filled with awesome improv! (Modern Theatre)
